The following information is furnished to establish the proper chassis requirements for DMF RW1013 RAILROADERS GUIDEWHEELS. It is not intended to be a truck specification sheet. Consult with your truck equipment dealer to assure that all equipment will operate safely with the chassis you are ordering. The 1013 RAIL GEAR KIT is intended for application to single rear wheel vehicles in the 6,500 to 9,900 GVW class.

Standard items included in the kit are:
Electric/hydraulic operation; steering wheel lock; wheel modification kit (5 wheels and spacers, if required); wiring harness; rubber tread guidewheels; insulated guidewheels; parts, service and installation manuals; front bumper with sight rods; mechanical overcenter design in rail position.

RW1013 SPECIFICATIONS

CAPACITY: 700 pounds per guidewheel axle @ 40 MPH
GAUGE: 56-1/2" STD.
FRONT GEAR:
• Hydraulic operation is standard.
• Proven independent rubber injected suspension for each corner which compensates for variance in loads.
• Compact design with minimum front overhang.
• Installation/storage/operation are below top of frame line.
• Front guidewheels utilize an overcenter design in rail position and have mechanical pin in highway position.
• Raising and lowering switch is located for easy access.
REAR GEAR:
• Hydraulic operation is standard.
• Proven independent rubber injected suspension for each corner which compensates for variance in loads.
• Compact tuck-under design does not extend past rear of vehicle.
• Installation/storage/operation are below top of frame line.
• Rear guidewheels utilize an overcenter design in rail position and have mechanical pin in highway position.
• Raising and lowering switch is located for easy access.
HYDRAULIC & ELECTRICAL SYSTEM:
• A self-contained hydraulic system is provided.
• System is activated from either cab or each end of vehicle.
• Emergency back-up hand pump is optional.
• Electro-logic wiring harness is supplied for ease of installation and troubleshooting.
• Electrical system is circuit breaker protected.
